How do I handle my husband's strangeness?

I requested that we go out to lunch. I mentioned the restaurant and he seemed okay. We get there and I order, he just asked for a glass of water and did not want to order anything. I ended up eating by myself. I asked him why he behaved that way and he says that he does not care for that restaurant. Why did he come then? I don't get menHow do I handle my husband's strangeness?
He went because you asked him. He obviously loves you and wants to spend time with you, no matter where it is. It is really funny how all the girls have a different perspective on this than the guys do. The girls are looking for an underlying reason. Listen ladies. We are not that complicated. He didn't like the restaurant. That is it. Nothing more.How do I handle my husband's strangeness?
Maybe he just wanted to spend time with you, and didn't care about what you decided on doing. Why not ask him to pick the next place you go to.
He went there to be your companion but he should have at least eaten something and not put you in an awkward position

Not enough information, such as, could he have had lunch before or after your ';date';?


Money issues?


Did he see someone there that he didn't want to have seeing him enjoy a meal with his wife? A waitress? Maybe just being in her presence was good enough, so he suggested the restaurant, but lost his appetite.


I hope that I'm wrong, but, I've heard of the very same situation.

Does he have an eating disorder?
Put it this way. You suggested a place to eat. If he wanted something different he should have said so. He wanted to spend time with you. Don't make a big deal out of it.
Try asking him instead of us. You might have married a nut. If he continues acting strangely maybe you should consider dumping him?
