All boys masturbate so unless you watch him 24/7 you can't stop him. Just leave the boy alone as masturbating is healthy if done in moderation.

Honestly, your strict regulations have probably made it difficult for you to know. Being honest and open with him would have been a better way to have these conversations. Then you could have explained WHY you wanted him to follow your guidelines rather than just trying to force him.
At this point, if he *is* breaking your rules, he'll do anything he can to hide it because he's afraid of you and your husband. And quite probably, as soon as he gets away from that fear of punishment, he may go far the other way.
Maybe it's not too late to treat your son as the person he is, instead of who you think he should be. Good luck!
This is just coming from my perspective. It sounds like your a really over-protective mother and most times that drives kids of all ages insane. I mean don't you want your son to express himself religously? Anyway, when you approach him don't be awkward or mean about it. If you do act that way odds are he'll probably lie. So, be sweet and nice like you probably usually are and ask.
The more you push your kids to NOT do things the more they are going to want to do them. Weren't you a teen at one point? Sex and masturbation are natural feelings. You need to talk to your son and not lecture him. Maybe he will be more open so you don't have to go snooping around!

Don't ask if you don't want to know. What would you do if the answer was yes? Or no? Think about it. I can't imagine a scenario where you are better off with the info. Life happens, relax. If you've raised him right it will pay off in the end, and few bumps here or there don't matter.

Teens have to masturbate, for both health and cleanliness. It isn't healthy to refrain from masturbation for long periods of time.
