How can my husband gain healthy weight at home?

My husband is 23, 6 foot and around 10 stone. He would like to put on weight for his self confidence but he hasn't got time to go to the gym because he works long hours and we have a 10 month old boy. Our house isn't big enough for gym equipment but are there ways for him to put on weight aside from eating lots of crap? Would lifting small weights (dumbbells) at home plus using weight gain shakes work? If so what would be the best way? Thank you. How can my husband gain healthy weight at home?
Healthy fats include omega-3 essential fatty acids sources like tuna, salmon, flax, and walnuts. Good sources of protein include lean meats, fish, poultry, nuts, seeds and legumes. Healthy carbohydrate sources include fruits, vegetables and whole grains.

It may be easier to eat five or six smaller balanced meals per day rather than eating three large meals, especially if you are not used to eating much at one sitting.

Protein powders and nutritional supplement drinks such as Ensure (buy direct) can be added as in-between meal snacks if you still need more calories. Some protein powders are flavored and only need added water and some others can be blended with your choice of juice or milk to improve the taste.

It would also be a healthy idea to add a small amount of flax seed oil and some psyllium powder to add some omega-3 essential fatty acids and extra fiber. How can my husband gain healthy weight at home?
He needs to be lifting moderate to heavy weights and doing repetitions to the failure point.

Do not let him eat ';crap foods';. High protein, high fiber low starch vegetables are key,

Simple training: push ups, sit ups, abdominal crunches, and stretching are all great ways to get in shape and add muscularity. You do no need a gym or fancy home equipment.

The best part about a simple regiment like this is that he can exercise at home, on his own schedule and take care of the baby.
Yes, lifting small weights would definitely work, because building some muscles is one way to lose weight. But just doing that doesn't. What he needs to do is eat balanced food, NO junks, craps, snacks etc. Eat balanced amount of meat, veges/fruit, carbo, etc. No need to eat a lot at night, but eat WELL at morning.A piece of bread with jam, milk, some slices/etc of veges, and a little bit of a fruit would work in breakfast.. Lunch, maybe a medium sized nutritious pasta with water, then dinner, make it less than the lunch or breakfast. No need for snacks.
Yes, it sounds like he need more muscle definition. rowing is a good sport for building upper arms and thigh muscles. Although he may not have the time with a ten month old. Could he carry the boy all the time and build up his muscles this way??
chicken pasta potatoes, you can also get build up shakes to, i,m also having this problem with my husband, but he just doesn't eat
Yes I think that would work too.

Squats and deadlifts would be good too. He should eat a good amount of protein (: Then the shakes come handy.

Good luck.
yes and also extra protein...more meat like chicken and get him some special shakes from the health food shop.

How to inspire husband to care more about his health and appearance?

I admit I am a bit of a health freak. But my husband is totally the opposite. He eats greasy, unhealthy food. He doesn't practice the greatest hygein either. I am worried about his health. I have convinced him to run with me at least once a week-which is a start. Any other idea on how to help him be more healthy? I couldn't stand the thought of something happening to him.How to inspire husband to care more about his health and appearance?
have a one on one conservation and tell him your fears. you could also try influencing him with sex or something. How to inspire husband to care more about his health and appearance?
When you're watching TV together, make complimentary comments about well-built guys, even going so far as to say you find them sexy and they turn you on. Take it one step further if you want and act like you are sexually interested in a well-built man in real life. He will get jealous and possessive and that might motivate him.

How can my husband and I meet Jimmie Johnson?

I also would like to surprise him by getting on the track, and meeting his favorite driver Jimmie Johnson. How can I make this possible? Please help me plan the greatest birthday ever for my Hubby!! Thanks! How can my husband and I meet Jimmie Johnson?
your best bet is when you purchase your ticket package you also get pit passes . you never know you could meet him if he is out walking around.. it is unfortunate that when buy tickets you also have to purchase them for the Nationwide race and the truck and indy race in july.... has my tickets for the raceHow can my husband and I meet Jimmie Johnson?
Make sure you have pit passes for qualifying, its less crowded then. Also check his website to see where he might be doing appearances, out here in Calif, he is always at couples Lowes close to the race track.

Go Dale Jr %26amp; Hms
You can try getting a Pit Pass, but mind you, it is not known when drivers are in the pits, therefore, an autograph is not guaranteed.
Check his website or other various websites to see if he is making any public appearances that week. Sometimes these guys have autograph sessions on a day leading up to the race.

  • How can my Husband and I start a medical transcription business from home?

My Husband and I want to start our own medical transcription business from home but we are not sure how to get started any help would be appreciated Thanx .How can my Husband and I start a medical transcription business from home?
You should pursue formal training from an accredited school. If it's online or campus based is less relevant than if the school is accredited and recognized by the U.S. Dept of Education.

There are a number of schools out there that are not BUT many are so do some research. Below is a good resource to search all accredited options. How can my Husband and I start a medical transcription business from home?
Business means you want to work from home by transcribing lines or you want to take work from doctors/physicians and outsource, earn commission or you want to start training institute?

It is better to do networking before going for any business in MT field through forums, blogs etc.
Probably the most important aspect of running a medical transcription business at this point is compliance with privacy and security regulations, as the penalties can be substantial for violations. Otherwise, it isn't significantly different from running any other kind of business and you can get free advice from the SBA and SCORE. You should also determine whether there's a market for your services and how much you can charge. I have linked to a large online community of medical transcriptionists that includes experienced transcription service owners.
';How to Get Started in Medical Transcription'; is a 6-part article detailing what it takes to start a medical transcription service, as well as the pros and cons of the industry. A link has been provided. Not affiliated with any school or product, just good free info.

How come my husband sweats so much during the night?

It has nothing to do with us having sex. Every morning when my husband wakes up he is drentched in sweat. The sheets are noticably wet. It's not hot in the room at all.

He is a 28 year old healthy male. Non-smoker and very atheletic. How come my husband sweats so much during the night?
Normal. Different individuals often have much varying comfort levels, as far has temperature and such goes. You might be comfortably warm, he might be soaking at that temp. You'll have to figure out a compromise where you're both comfortable.

(I like to sleep in the cold, if at all possible with an open window nearby; the wife likes it balmy but not stuffy...so yeah, compromising it is)How come my husband sweats so much during the night?
I agree with erin, yr husband has severe internal symptoms is.This may due to high metabolic rate and cause sweating. Some factors such as the room condition of yr room and also may due to the material of the bedding and his pajamas. I hv experienced that before my bed sheet kinda rough and i feel uncomfortable as the next day i saw my neck was full of sweat. Bt sweat is good as to cool off yr body and increase the rate of evaporation. Bt excessive sweat then......
metabolism, means his internal rate of burning energy is high,

    could be from:

    * toxins in the environment where he works/lives

    * ginseng

    * coffee/tea

    * CO-Q10

    * vitamin C

    * excessive exercise (creates more oxidation in body)

    * hot peppers/hot spices

    Solution:

    * cut down on the vitamins

    * drink more water

    * no caffeine
Will he sweat even if he has a light sheet over him? Has he had any other symptoms like weight loss, fever, itchiness, or fatigue? He might want to go see his doctor. Sometimes these kinds of things are normal, but sometimes they can be the symptoms of other diseases, e.g. lymphoma.
Just make sure you prepare enough water in order to prevent dehydration.

Sweating is healthy sign, but over-sweating really marks as a bad sign.
Consider having him tested for Valley Fever.
Stress can cause this as well as a hormonal buildup in his body.
He could be having bad dreams.
    Have him see a doctor.

How to motivate husband and get him to understand ovulation = pregnancy ?

My husband and I are trying for our first child, he suggested we start trying. I am 31 he is 37. We have been trying for about three months and it seems like he just doesn't get that we need to have more sex when I am ovulating to get pregnant. He's like, it will happen when it happens we don't need to plan anything. I am not planning it I am just realistic and know that is the only time during the month I can get pregnant and want to up our chances so we don't go month after month missing my fertile days. I am just frustrated he is sooo laid back and I want this so much. How do I get him to understand my urgency and that I can only get pregnant if we have sex when I am ovulating. He seems to know this but doesn't really get the reality that if we miss those days we've got to wait another whole month to try again. How to motivate husband and get him to understand ovulation = pregnancy ?
Oh boy. Okay. I would say he really just doesn't get it or he's not as ready to do this as he thinks.

I do know this, when a man really wants something... whether it's a female, a promotion, or a new car he's relentless about it. Sometimes when I poop out over this whole TTC thing my husband is like ';C'mon!! Do you want to get pregnant or not!!'; LOL. He reads all the OPK test results, the pregnancy test results and goes insane during the two week wait right along with me. I've seen men on this message board write in with questions about their wife/girlfriend's cycle or fertility. I think it's awesome.

Your hubby needs to get on board with it or be more honest about how he's feeling. Yes sex should be a for fun and a special time between you two....but here's the cold hard facts...there's only one window a month where you can get pregnant. If you don't have sex at that time, it won't happen.

You can do it all behind the scenes (use ovulation predictor kits and seduce him when you know you are fertile) or he can be your teammate and participate. Giving him the benefit of the doubt that maybe he just is clueless, find a good article or two on the Internet about ovulation and fertility and read them together. Nothing too long or complicated, after all he's a man and you'll lose his attention after a paragraph or two!

    Good luck.

    EDIT--

Found this article, try having hubby read it.

http://www.fertilityfriend.com/Faqs/The-鈥?/a>How to motivate husband and get him to understand ovulation = pregnancy ?
My husband is the same way, you may have to take charge here....

My advice is to entice and excite him by being spontaneous. Planned sex is not fun but if you spice it up a bit, it will not feel planned and you will enjoy it much more too! Get yourself something nice from Vicki's Secret, find a kinky game, get some candles, take some pictures, learn how to pole dance, etc. Of course, you will have to find something that suits you and your husband's taste - there is something out there for everyone. Seriously, it will help!!
Ovulation isnt the only time to get pregnant. You just have a better chance around ovulation and you should just let it happen because thats usually when you get pregnant when you least expect it.
Seriously? Try and time having sex for every third day, then make overtures every other day as your ovulation nears. He still has fun, and you get to seriously try at the middlemark.
ok tell him if we miss those days we wont have a child we will have to wait a month dont you want a child heres the deal if i was you id get an ovulation test and show him the results and say these are the days we need to have sex for a baby!
He just doesn't get the biological clock urgency thing.

No man is likely to turn down a little ';handi-work';. Once you get him well excited, pounce on him ;P
my young lady please understand, you are stressing to much, it may be you and not him,

forget you time of the month , enjoy him .

he maybe subconously he do not want the responiblity of a child, and you keeping track of it may scare him even more,

    just relax,

don't remind him of your days and you forget it to,

    you are trying to hard.

or maybe you both need to go have some test run,
Don't get him to have sex because you want to have a baby- seduce him into having sex on your fertile days, just for sex. Men tend to get frustrated because we are obsessive about having sex during ovulation, and we give off the vibe that it is a chore.
Is it possible he -thinks- he's ready, but in reality, isn't quite yet, and that's why he insists on missing your fertile days every month? At his age, the concept is pretty easy to understand- I think it's not a lack of knowledge, but a lack of real commitment to it (for now) on his part, keeping this from happening (sorry).
if he doesn't get it then the don't bother trying to explain it to him. some men don't want to be bothered with those details. instead continue to monitor ovulation and without even mentioning it initiate sex during that time.

How to surprise my husband a camping trip?

I want to surprise my husband with a camping trip for our 1 year anniversary. We both LOVE to camp and this seems like the perfect time. I just don't know how to pull this one off with out him knowing what going on. I want to take him to the Texas coast but he will know where were going when he see's the highway.... Or maybe I should just tell him??? Who knows??? Any ideas? How to surprise my husband a camping trip?
You`ll probably have to tell him you`re going camping, he`ll see all the gear and food in the car anyway. But that doesnt mean he has to know where exactly you are going...How to surprise my husband a camping trip?
Enlist the help of a friend or family member to secretly drive your gear to the major city closest to your destination. Then buy plane tickets to that city and convince your husband that you'll be sight seeing in the city for your anniversary. Be sure to gather lots of information about the local attractions and plan out your itinerary with enthusiasm.

When you arrive at the destination airport have your friend waiting with the limo drivers and holding a sign with your name on it. Then you can tell your husband what you are really doing and put your friend on a plane home while you head to the camp spot.

By using economical flights you can do this for $300 or less. It is something that you'll always remember!
What a lovely idea. I can't think of any ways that you can do this without him knowing. Because you will have to pack camping stuff in the car. Good luck with it all and have fun.
    Hmmm.

How to support a husband who works too much?

Hi there, I have been married for 4 years. My husband started a new career 6 months ago. Since then he is gone almost every night, and when he is home he is on the phone in the office. Also every conversation we have is about his career. I don't like feeling upset, I love him and want to support him more. But I can't help feeling resentful because his career has consumed him. Any advice? We don't have any children. We are 25 and 24. I don't want to be mad at him because he works so hard to provide for our future. How to support a husband who works too much?
I have been with my fiancee for almost 4 years. We have lived together for the past year and a half. I can relate to what you are saying. First I tried dropping a few subtle hints, like telling him how much I missed him and that I enjoy spending time with him and when we do, it seems like the time goes by so fast. At first I tried real hard to understand that work took up a lot of his time and to just try to enjoy what time we did have together because it would all be worth it in the future. As time went by I started to get mad, frustrated and resentful. Then one day I finally had enought. I told him how much I loved him and I appreciated him working so hard, but in order to make and keep our relatkonship strong that he was going to have to start putting a little more time and attention in. And I used his business as an example - in order for his business to be successful his has to give 100% even if he's tired, stressed, etc. If you don't take care and nurture a relationship it will eventually die. Like a plant, you can remember to throw some water on it every once in a while and it will hang on to life, but if you give it the time and it attention that it really needs it will flourish. He listened and now we take special time out for ourselves and do things we enjoy together. Talk to him from the heart he will listen too.How to support a husband who works too much?
I understand your concerns, and I also know the pressure in which your husband is trying to succeed.

I think it is fair to talk to him about the time he spends on work at home, that your not wanting him to stop, but the time that you both spend together needs to be of more quality when the time permits. Good luck.
Have a chat and say you understand and SUPPORT the importance of the work ethic, but you need to have an ';us'; day. Say, maybe on sunday, no work, no phones, no relatives, etc... Try explaining that if you don't have a relationship in the future, what's the point in working so hard for it.
Um... well, you could tell him what you need. You could tell him that his constant attention to work, is making you feel lonely and left out of his life. You can't expect it to change, but you can certainly express your feelings about it. And if he's a good husband, he will respond to your feelings and make his own changes.
This is a pretty typical problem. Women that want to monopolize 100% of their mans time, I mean. You suck him dry because of your own insecurities. Its sick really. Get over it, get a career of your own. I feel bad for him. You have no idea how much you probably stress him out with your nagging.
text him during his working days (I do the same when I wanna tel him something I do text)...he probably won't reply as he's busy (my one never does but he feels connected this way), it'd support him and your relationship
Then you need to make it clear when he leaves the office his work stays there, and that when he's at home discussions regarding job and career are off limits.
    Masterbate, masterbate, masterbate
I wouldn't know. I have the opposite problem!

How can I start an HVAC business with my husband as a consultant and employees doing the actual work?

My husband is a very experienced HVAC technician and we need more income but he doesn't want to leave his current job for the government since it is enjoyable hours and nice benefits. I am wondering if I can start an HVAC business and hire techs to do the actual labor and my husband can be a consultant resource. Do I need an HVAC license to actually own the business even if I am not doing any hands on work? What if my husband has the license? I would be the business manager and scheduler. How can I start an HVAC business with my husband as a consultant and employees doing the actual work?
Almost anyone can own a business and some that do know nothing about how the work is done. You may as the owner be required to have a contractor's Licenses. Showing that you know the laws as they relate to this field/ This may be different in your state. Your responsibility to the business as the owner would be to provide good service to your customers. Have you looked at the costs of starting this? Are you going to buy the employees trucks to drive? What are your Cost for insurance? Dont forget Liability, if you drop a 10ton AC thru a roof how are you protected? Do you have 2 years of capital to run the company if you dont make a penny? Good luck I hope this helps!

What should I expect as my husband transitions from a US Marine to a US Soldier?

My husband recently got out of the Marines to go into the Army, and ships out for AIT next thursday. His MOS is 25B, and we have a 6 year enlistment ahead of us. How far into the schools have you personally found out your duty station? And how does your duty station get chosen in the Army? I have so many questions, and my husband does not know, and his recruiters do not seem to either. What kind of changes should I expect as a spouse? Are the rules different in the Army? What should I expect as my husband transitions from a US Marine to a US Soldier?
'; WE';? Did you enlist in the Army too?!

He will get his assignment before graduation.

he can request his assignment preference up to 3 locations, stateside or overseas, bottom line, assignments are made with the most urgent need of his MOS (IT specialist) right before graduation.

    ';needs of the army';

26B's in the army can be assigned anywhere! Try to get a Medical Command!

YOU will become a family member/spouse (army)

I'm sure the rules of family members are the same! What should I expect as my husband transitions from a US Marine to a US Soldier?
I've worked with some former Marines. Every one of them has hated the Army. I'm not saying your husband will hate the Army, but the odds are in favor of it.

In the Army, you tell them where you would like to get stationed, and they proceed to ignore you. The earliest he'll find out his duty station will be a couple of months before he graduates AIT. I found out my duty station as I walked across the stage on graduation day.
The marines are more stricter, so he should have a picnic in the Army. Just keep the lines of Communication open when he departs.
Why in the world did he do that??????????????

How do my husband and I relocate out of state with two small children and a home to sell?

We had this planned for a couple years and we tried to sell the house two years ago when I was pregnant, took it off to have the baby, tried to sell it again then I got pregnant again, took it off the market and need to try to sell it again. Is there an easier way to sell a house, or rent or something? My husband has a job with the USPS so he will transfer, no worries on the job front. Any advice would be appreciated...How do my husband and I relocate out of state with two small children and a home to sell?
Keep this home and rent it out. It could be some great extra income if done correctly. How do my husband and I relocate out of state with two small children and a home to sell?
It's not all that easy to just transfer in the USPS, I hope your husband has checked into this already.
Long distance landlording is troublesome to say the least, so I would recommend this be a last resort for your consideration.

You need to price your home to sell quickly based on your current market conditions. It must be in better condition and priced better than your competition in order to facilitate a quick sale.

Not sure what else your question is.....

How does my husband get authorization to live off post in Korea?

I am an army wife. My husband has just received orders to his first duty station in Korea. We have only been married for a few months and I have seen him very little because of training. We will not be command sponsored. We are prepared to cover all the costs, but many still say he will not be authorized to live off post with me. I was just wondering if anyone had any info on how he would go about getting authorization. Any info is very much appreciated! How does my husband get authorization to live off post in Korea?
not that i have any way of answering this question, im just wondering, would it not help to mention which army your husband is in as im sure there will be different rules depending on if its british army, american army or brazilian etc.

How can my husband and I become Caregivers for mentally challenged People!?

My husband and I would like to become caregivers for mentally challenged people. We really don't care whether they are young or old. How do we do this? How can my husband and I become Caregivers for mentally challenged People!?
I live in Colorado; my wife and I own an ACF for mentally ill. It is a rodeo everyday, but worthy do dedicate to. It didn't take an education to do; State course of 2 days to get certified. CO even allows 2 in a home without the certification. The biggest stickler is all of the rules and regulations ( inspection to enforce ). Our facility is 15 beds we consider all of them as our ';children';. There is much support from Mental Health, Social Services, Police Dept. and most important the community. Researching other states they are all about the same, I have even substituted forms and documentation procedures from other states if easier to use and within CO regs. Hope this helps you; there are so many out there that need a home or the family just can't do it anymore. God speed in whatever you choose in this field, we absolutely need more like you.How can my husband and I become Caregivers for mentally challenged People!?
if this is what you really want to do then you are very special people. many get a ';job'; doing this and do not really care for the ones they are supposed to be dedicated to. it is a very rewarding job, it is also at times mentally exhausting. i did this for 3 years and have very fond memories of the people i took care of.

to answer your question about how to begin finding a position, begin with your local foster care program. their are many children and teens that require care and typically are not placed in group homes. they will come to your home and certify you to have them live with you this is the best way to really make a difference in a home setting.

you can also search for group homes that hire if you have a H.S. diploma and take the required training. this a bit less rewarding though because it has an institutional feel most often.

there are also state jobs, you go to the institution and take a civil service test, not too difficult to pass. then wait to be called for an interview. these jobs pay up to $30 an hour in PA and have excellent benefits.

there are also day programs where you help them work a job. these jobs are assigned according to the individuals capabilities and makes them proud to be a part of the community.
Well, hopefully you have already signed up already for some extra English courses already. Three adverbs describing one verb? How successful were you in English 101?
Take classes to become CNAs (certified nursing assistants). Almost all community colleges have these programs. I hope that helps.

Getting certified to be a CNA is vastly different than getting a degree in psychology. It's two entirely different things. I know that it seems similar, but it's not. This is on the medical end of things (trust me, I know, I have my PhD in psych, and my BSN as well). You will need to take CNA training classes. Once you're finished, you'll be eligible to take your state's CNA exam. If you pass, then you'll be officially certified, and you can apply for jobs at hospitals, group homes, home health aide/caregiver placement agencies, etc. where you'll be able to work with mentally challenged individuals. Good luck.
Call your local mental health and see how you can volunteer!
Contact your local health group they will be able to gie you a push in the right direction :0 )

When you're watching TV together, make complimentary comments about well-built guys, even going so far as to say you find them sexy and they turn you on. Take it one step further if you want and act like you are sexually interested in a well-built man in real life. He will get jealous and possessive and that might motivate him.How to inspire husband to care more about his health and appearance?
have a one on one conservation and tell him your fears. you could also try influencing him with sex or something.

How can my husband control high blood pressure without medication?

My husband has just been diagnosed with high blood pressure. The medication makes him sick and he would like to control it without medication anyway. Does anyone have any tips? How can my husband control high blood pressure without medication?
Three things can help reduce blood pressure.

    1) being no more than your ideal weight

    2) taking vigorous exercise regularly

    3) lowering salt intake and perhaps using 'Lo-salt'.

Unfortunately even using all three will seldom normalise it, once the disease is established.

There are also dozens of different drug groups each containing many different individual drugs, now available to treat BP. No one is upset by all of them. How can my husband control high blood pressure without medication?
The omega-3 fatty acids have been shown to lower cholesterol and subsequently control high blood pressure. Eat oily fish like sardines, salmon, mackerel, at least 2 times a week.

He should clearly exercise and reduce salt BUT don't blame him if it doesn't come down with those measures! Sometimes high BP is genetic and very hard to control. I'm young and a healthy weight and have battled high BP since high school (when I was a tall 110 pound thing). He can also try to avoid caffeine but if he needs medicine, he shouldn't feel like a failure - there are so many to try, don't let him give up. He may need to take it with food or use an extended release formula. If it could be stress or anxiety related, check into ';Resperate'; - it is drug free!
Diet and exercise can do wonders. Make sure his weight is within normal reccomendations. There are also a lot of medications out there for BP so maybe a change in meds would help. He should not stop taking the meds without consulting a Dr. If the BP is just slightly elevated lifestyle changes can make the difference. Stop smoking, not too much alcohol and reduced salt can help too. LOL.
Listen to Lori K she is absolutely right!
there is ahrebal remedy that I got for my dad from the local herbalist for high blood pressure, It contained mistletoe, vitamin e and garlic. Its sepcifically for that problem so ask about it at your local herbalist. He would need to take it everyday for probably 4 - 6 wks before he notices any effect. also stay away from salt as much as poss, I advise a 75mg dose of aspirin a day aswell as people with high blood pressure are more likely to have strokes. Aspirin is great at preventing strokes. Actually I advise everyone to have 75 mg of aspirin a day as due to the stressful lifestyle we tend to lead nowa days alot of people mould benefit from this preventitive measure. Plus they recently found out aspirin is good for preventing cancer too! Also exercise, don't stress and cut down on the fats and red meats.
Your husband can control hypertension without going down the slippery slope of conventional drugs with all the side effects.

Please, please consider consulting a Homoeopath. I treat a LOT of patients with hypertension - some have presented with extremely high readings. All are fed up with conventional medicines %26amp; the side effects %26amp; after some treatment with homeoopathy, their blood pressure is within normal limits %26amp; well controlled. Visit http://www.homeopathy-soh.org to find a registered practitioner local to you. I assure you that you will get good results but you need to bear in mind that the treatment is about finding the correct homoeopathic remedy for you with your blood pressure problems %26amp; not about finding a remedy for your blood pressure. His hypertension is a RESULT of an underlying imbalance %26amp; it's this that needs treatment. Conventional medicine fails to understand this point entirely. I have many, many satisfied ex-hypertensive patients who are very pleased not to have to take drugs any more.
Special diets and exercise can help lower the bp. One warning is that certain meds can raise bp. Sudafed is one in particular that does. Check the labels of any food and sometime body products....some deodorants will say ';may raise bp'; There are some great guide books on the market.

    Good luck to you both!!
eat healthier, exercise, NO SALT, have less stress, %26amp; you MAY want to take medication if it gets too out of hand.
Exercise daily and stop eating salt. I would check with his doctor, mine gave me a hand out, not sure where it is.
    Throw away the salt shaker.

    Cook from scratch.

    Follow the glycemic index diet.

Exercise for at least one half hour

every day for the rest of his life!
Do all the healthy lifestyle bits + try different medications. There's tonnes of meds for high bp. ';Suck it and see'; which one works for him.
The only way to control high blood pressure and to stay away from medication is through diet and exercise. It may not take away all the medication but it will definitely help.

More people today cook at home less than when I was growing up. Proper meals made at home also help. You dont have to sacrifice good taste for healthy foods.

I was about 270 pounds 4 years ago and used to wear a size 38w pants that were snug. Through the right exercise program for me and a good diet i dropped down to 215 pounds and a 34 waist. The key is making a plan a sticking to it. You can still have all the foods you enjoy but how much and how often play a big part.

As with any exercise program start at a comfortable pace and keep regular check-ups with his doctor. As time goes on he will see a difference in appearance and feel a whole lot better.

I hope this works or is at least one avenue he can try. It worked for me. Don't look for fast results, look for positive results and they will come. Have agreat weekend.
A great way to lower your blood pressure and combat the corrosive effects of plaque buildup is to exercise. Studies have shown that sedentary lifestyles tend to elevate blood pressure, while regular exercise can reduce it.

I also suggest staying away from sodium (ex: salt)

Another important way is to make sure he does not smoke or drink alcohol.

With these 3 important steps I'm sure he could combat high blood pressure.
He could try losing weight if he's overweight. Some people with hypertension can lower their blood pressure by cutting their sodium intake -- but this doesn't always work. If he can't decrease his blood pressure through diet, the only proven wasy is through medication. There are many types of BP medication on the market, and most likely, not all of them will cause side effects in your husband. He should discuss this with his doctor.
Na,,,,, you have to reduce Na intake. which we known as salt. if your husband having high sodium food. it may cause to high blood pressure. please follow the nutrition panel on the purchase of food from super markets.

make sure to select No saturated fats and trans fats for side effects as CVD.
I heard of eating fresh Garlic is good for too get ride of High blood pressure and also red wine, and excires. Good health .
It takes a while to get the proper medications AND to allow your body time to get used to them. Going without medication could cause him to stroke out or have a heart attack. I wouldn't suggest it.
    Excersise and eat healthy
I got mine under control by doing these things, weight is a big factor,so I cut out lots of carbs in my diet, losing twenty pounds, cut back on meat, lots more vegtables, and eating a couple of sticks of celery seemed to help the most.I've been off the medicine for four years now,a banana a day helps also with lots of essential nutrients.Good luck to him, also if you don't have a blood pressure Gage get one and use it to see how its working.
I would highly recommend that he speak to his doctor. There are MANY blood pressure lowering medications out there, it is probably just a matter of finding the right one for your husband.

Just using diet alone isn't very effective for lowering blood pressure. He really needs proper medication.
There are several different blood pressure medications available, such as Norvasc, Benicar, etc. If one doesn't work, there should be another that does. High blood pressure can be deadly. It can cause a stroke or heart attack. It also puts a lot of pressure on the heart, eyes and kidneys and very often seems to be accompanied by high cholesterol.

Therefore, it is to his benefit to see his doctor again to seek out something that works well for him. It is possible that he got a dosage that is too strong for him. He can accentuate the medicine by avoiding salt altogether. He should avoid grapefruit juice, limit use of coffee, regular tea, carbonated beverages, licorice, cold cuts, msg, anything that contains a lot of sodium. Helpful products are: Pomegranate juice, Jamaican June plum juice, ginger tea, 1 glass of red wine with meals, raspberry tea (decaffeinated) and aerobic activity (swimming, speed walking, treadmill workout.)

I wish I could tell you that he can control it without medication, but he would be taking a serious risk. Strokes are the major cause of disability in the US. Weight loss, and diet modification are the only home remedies, but that takes time to accomplish. In the meantime, he has to take the medicine.
Tell him not to take too much pickles and things containing more calories like bananas, etc.I think this can help to a certain extent.Pl dont be worried with this prob.If u want still more details u can consult a doctor about it.
well without medication comes meditation every morning at 6 at grassy ground do meditation and yogas.it is possible even blood pressure will become normal and everything will be fine
no salt.no fat diet ,aviod frying, lot of green leaf vegetables.drink lot of water.lunch and dinner should be mild.excercise regularly like, walking.good luck.
BORING BUT TOO TRUE. I'm living proof.

    DIET %26amp; EXERCISE!

Try half an hour to an hour of brisk walking or exercise a day. Cut out oils, fats, red meat, fried foods and reduce alcohol intake. Take half an Aspirin a day (ask Dr 1st).

Reduce stress. Try some relaxation techniques e.g. listen to fav music in headphones for half an hour a day and just breathe in %26amp; out DEEPLY.

MAKE TIME to do these things. My pressure dropped within a month from 150 over 90 to 117 over 80.
dt yell stay away form stress eat yougert and not sugery foods
Meditation and massage therapy can help him deal with the stress and strain on his body, teach him to relax and change his diet to what the nutritionist recommends. It won't be an easy transition, but those in combination with a regular exercise regiment should help him.

How can my husband cancel child support to a child who is no longer a minor?

My husband has been paying child support faithfully, but now that his daughter is no longer a minor we can't seem to find the right way to cancel these payments, they are now deducting the amount of child support from his SS checks. We have tried contacting the NJ Child support division but have not been able to get in touch with anyone via phone or by mail. What else can we do? How can we stop paying? How can my husband cancel child support to a child who is no longer a minor?
file a motion in family court to end the child support based on the child being an adult now and served the other parent the papers. If the child is attending college then child support will continue. Check into that as well. How can my husband cancel child support to a child who is no longer a minor?
my husband is going through this too right now what we were told to do by our lawyer was that we needed to go down to the court house and file a petition to see if the child is in school because one is leagly responsable for them till there 21 so you first need to see if there are in school

First of all if he is getting SS benifits his children are intiteled to their own benifits. They would not have been deducted from his check. If they took them from his check it would have been for back payments and that won't stop untill he pays it off.

You'll have to find out who the caseworker is thats dealing with your case. Or you can write to them (make sure you put your case # and such on it) and send it certified mail. The 2 people I have known that had to deal with that ended up still paying until the court decided to look at the records and see the age of the child but they had no arrears and ended up getting that money back? I just suggest you hound everyone at that office until you can talk to someone. OR, you can always give him back the money you get for child support...
Before the state can garnish anything, you must be properly served with a statement stating how much will be garnished and from what...

Its always hard to get through to anyone when calling any child support division. Some states are separated by county and others by Field office.

He must be on SSA right? legally SSI checks can not be garnished at all so It must be SSA (which can be garnished).

If the child is over the legal age, and he is still making payments, s/he is either still in high school or he owes back child support. The state cant continue to garnish if he owes nothing.

If he owes arrears, have him check with the person he pays support to and see if she will write off any back debt owed. If its owed to the state (because she was on TANF) request a conference board write off... He has rights as a NCP, and its important he exercises them.

You know what? I will look in my contact sheet to see if I can find out a direct line for you to call. I will get back to you.
I would be calling every single day until I got some results. Is your husband's ex a decent enough person where he could ask her for the money to be returned?

I don't understand why some of the answerers are saying that he needs to continue paying if the daughter is in college, unless your state is one of the unfortunate few who require child support to continue through college, which is so unjust because married parents are not forced to pay for their child's college... Child support is such a rip off for the non-custodial parent, I really hope your husband gets this straightened out fast! :)
I am going through this right now, and all I'm trying to do is get a payment statement on how much my husband has paid to them. YOU HAVE TO EMAIL, MAIL, AND CALL EVERY DAY. The only way I got an answer for my husband was to send letters to the main supervisor. It's awful. If you can, a lawyer may be able to help. They may be able to help, but I got an answer by contacting the main person by mail. Good luck!

Oh and btw, they won't talk to you about anything. You'll have to have your husband talk to them on the phone, but email is a wonderful thing because you can send letters from his account (with his permission of course!)

Also, type letters out for him and have him sign them. After they get a letter from you everyday, they will get in contact with you. I am jealous that you are finished.... I still have 10 more years to go!!
If the child is still in school he can still be held accountable for the support. If they can't get anyone on the phone then go to the court house, visit the family division or go to your local child suport office, and ask for a mod for your support.
First of all even if she is no longer a minor, if she is still in High school or college he will still have to pay. If school is not the case you should call child enforcement agency or the prosecuting attorney office.
File directly with the court. Your state court web site should have the proper forms, and if they don't ask the clerk at the court for them.
    Contact a lawyer.

How would my husband file a claim for wages against his employer that claimed bankruptcy?

I am not sure who to call or how we would file a claim for wages. My husband was laid off due to the company claiming bankruptcy. The labor board was not much help. What's steps do we need to take in North Carolina to get this taken care of?

Thank you so much for your help! How would my husband file a claim for wages against his employer that claimed bankruptcy?
Contact the Department of Labors wage %26amp; hour division to file a complaint at 1-866-4US-WAGE. They will also refer you to your home states department to begin the process. Bankruptcy does NOT relinquish him of his obligation to pay his employees owed wages. How would my husband file a claim for wages against his employer that claimed bankruptcy?
as noted by others the department of labor can take a wage claim,to do so just click this link:

    http://www.nclabor.com/wh/fact%20sheets/鈥?/a>

the problem is (as i was taught years ago)

    ';you can't get blood from a turnip';

being owed wages, winning a judgment, being part of the creditor list in reorganization do you no good if the employer does not have the liquid assets available to pay you out of. no cash on hand, no pay.
Depending on the type of bankruptcy that the business is filing the workers might be the last people to get their money if they can money at all. The creditors and any suppliers that have money claims are usually paid first.
Follow up with the DOL. Employees owed wages are first in line for funds, not last.

they are keloids, and he can go to a dermatologist and get them injected with steroids and they will improve. I don't know if this is available where you are.....
maybe you mean keloid. keloid former will always be a keloid former no matter what you do it will be there because it is in his genes already...even if you do cosmetic sugery...it will always come back....just take care that you don't have cuts...it is there that it forms..
do what the doctor says, %26amp; stay with him, he might return with some other disease

How can my husband get a job as a mechanical engineer?

My husband graduated in May with a BS in mechanical engineering. He has been looking for a job since then with no luck. He even had a professional resume done. Do you have to start off as something else? Is there a secret? What can we do? We live in NH.How can my husband get a job as a mechanical engineer?
Assuming that he did well in school and the resume is well prepared, I think you have to consider relocation. Consider somewhere there are more R%26amp;D for industrial, oil %26amp; gas or manufacturing businesses.

In the current job market and at entry-level position, companies are less willing to consider non-local candidates. He may want to mention that he is willing to travel and relocate on his own expense.

Even if he had a professional resume done, there is not such thing as one size fits all. I hope he is writing a good cover letter to go with each submission.

Has he network with his school alumni and local engineering professional chapters? Those are good people to talk with, he will find many jobs are not posted online or anywhere else. Beside his school resources, http://www.asme.org/ is a good place to start.

What online job sites has he looked? Try these engineer specific sites:

    http://www.asme.org/

    http://www.engineerjobsearch.com/javadb.鈥?/a>

    http://www.interec.net/

    http://www.miscojobs.com/

Not all jobs that might be suitable for him will be listed under mechanical engineer. Some might be process engineer, technical engineer, quality engineer etc. I hope he will spend time read through job descriptions.

Job searching is a full time job in itself. And it must be discouraging to be searching for a while. I hope this informaiton could be helpful for him.

    for what company?

    need more info
What companies has he applied for?

Has he gone to job fairs and looked for work on line?

Has your husband been offered any interviews?

Have you tried to look for work outside of NH? Are you willing to relocate? Mechanical and Electrical engineers should be alright in looking for work, but it may take some time.

    Is he an US citizen?

Try some of the websites listed below for opportunities

    In reply to additional Details:

Try going to job fairs. If he is a personable fellow and is able to sell himself, he will find more opportunity. The targeted job fairs and jobing site may have lists of some but not all types of job fairs that may be in the area. The targeted job fairs site will have more technical and security clearance type jobs. If your husband is an US citizen then I encourage him to try to find a job at those places.
Did he do an internship? That's usually pretty important - most schools push them, but some don't.

He could check with his college placement office - they might have some leads for him.

If you live in an area with few job opportunities, you might have to consider relocating.

    Good luck.

How does a husband that smokes affect our 12 week old son?

My husband smokes, never in the house, and never near the baby but I worry that it will affect our son (he's 12 weeks old) by it being in my husbands clothing, on his skin and breath, etc. I'm really trying to get him to quit but it's obviously not working because he has yet to try. What are the risks involved? Our son also co-sleeps with us in our bed. I worry that he is exposed even if my husband thinks he isn't. Anyone know anything on this subject? I need some ammo to use on my husband and hopefully convince him to try quitting. How does a husband that smokes affect our 12 week old son?
Me and My husban both smoke and just like you said never in the house or around our son, because of the risk of second hand smoke and not just that alone but that increases the risk of SIDS, however I remember hearing recently that, that isn't enough the toxins left on your clothes from smoking is enough to effect the baby. So encourage your husband that if he isnt going to quit then he needs to have a ';smoking'; set of clothes that he changes into and that the baby never comes in contact with and tell him to remember to always wash his hands afterwards and face too, I would add.How does a husband that smokes affect our 12 week old son?
You're right, smoke on clothing and skin is considered second hand smoke and will effect your baby. The best you can do is have your husband smoke outside, wear a jacket for smoking (and never in the house), and wash his hands when he's finished. If he smokes in the car (when your son's NOT in it, hopefully), chemicals can soak into the upholstery and into the carseat, if it's a seat that is not removed. That is also considered second hand smoke. So he shouldn't smoke in the car ever.
The exposure to the toxins in cigarette smoke, which are on your husbands hair, skin, and clothes, greatly affect your infant. These toxins have been proven to increase the rate of SIDS...this with the co-sleeping (which also increases the rate of SIDS) makes SIDS a horrifyingly real possibility in your infants case. You need to drag your husband kicking and screaming to the pediatrician...tell the doctor EVERYTHING (smoking, co-sleeping, ect) and have your doctor give your husband hard numbers how this will affect your son. It is SO dangerous!
Smoke smell can't hurt the baby. It's good that your husband smokes outside and never near the baby. You should be very grateful for that. Don't try to get any ammo or leverage to use against your husband. it'll only make him resent the baby. Thank him for his consideration and kindly let him know how his smoking makes you feel, and leave it alone.
ur son is also smoking (breathing it in) be careful dear
    * Babies and children who are exposed to cigarette smoke have a much higher incidence of pneumonia, asthma, ear infections, bronchitis, sinus infections, eye irritation, and croup.

    * Colic occurs more often in babies whose mothers or fathers smoke or if a breastfeeding mother smokes. Researchers believe that not only does the nicotine transferred into mother's milk upset baby but the passive smoke in the home acts as an irritant. Babies of smoking parents fuss more, and mothers who smoke may be less able to cope with a colicky baby (due to lower levels of prolactin).

    * Heavy smoking by breastfeeding moms occasionally causes symptoms in the breastfeeding baby such as nausea, vomiting, abdominal cramps and diarrhea.

    * Babies of smoking mothers and fathers have a seven times greater chance of dying from sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS).

    * Children of smoking parents have two to three times more visits to the doctor, usually from respiratory infections or allergy-related illnesses.

    * Children who are exposed to passive smoke in the home have lower blood levels of HDL, the good cholesterol that helps protect against coronary artery disease.

    * Children of smoking parents are more likely to become smokers themselves.

    * A recent study found that growing up in a home in which two parents smoked could double the child's risk of lung cancer later in life.
This is a hard one, now my father smoked and both my brother and i are perfectly healthy.

The only time in 25 years i have been admitted to hospital was to give birth to my child.

Now my husband, both his parents smoked and he has asthma - so i dont know. But i do know that i wont let anyone who smokes, smoke near my child, personally i think its the height of ignorance.

And my dad washes his hands after smoking before he touches my son, as does my husbands mother.

it depends, if u have the door open and the smoke can get in from outside. You only have to look at what it does to your insides, why would you want that near your baby?

    thats just me though

How can my husband prove his worth to my parents?

My parents hate my husband for his stupid actions in the past and not so good ones in the present. How can he prove his worth when he keeps f-ing up all the time. We are currently seeking marriage counseling. How can my husband prove his worth to my parents?
He can prove it by stopping f-ing up all the time.

%26lt;-- Captain ObviousHow can my husband prove his worth to my parents?
What's more important is how do you feel about him and his actions. Though they love you and want the best for you, he shouldn't feel pressured to impress them.

If he is not abusing you, then they have to state their opinions to youuu, pray for your and back off. You are know married and though they have a right to a opinion, they need to respect him as your husband. Hopefully they are not providing for you'll financially.

If it is abuse then they have a right to be involved.
Well actions are louder than words and the proof is in the pudding. Have him do some work around your parents house, get a haircut, and be polite. I am the mother of adult kids and my youngest is 23 and her ex bf treated her badly and we do not want him part of the family and there is no way on God's green earth that we will change our minds. He cheated on our baby and I am so glad she dumped him and moved on to a great future as a forensic psychologist and accepted at a great university for her graduate studies. she is actually my step daughter, but still just as much my kid like my biological son too. My son is 25 and his gf is going to college in another state and I gave him The Speech of wisdom. If he makes a commitment to this nice young lady he better do right by her or else I will step in to protect my future daughter in law. Parenting is a never ending role and shouldn't especially since we are bank rolling their educations. Tell your husband if he screws up one more time it will ruin their trust forever.
LOL...you refer to him as ';f-ing up all the time'; and he's supposed to prove his worth to your parents? It seems to me you don't see his worth...

It's good you're attending counseling, because there is NO NEED for him to prove his worth to your parents. He isn't married to them.
Why should he prove anything to them there not the ones married to him . you know after 2 get married they belong to each other not mom and dad. If you love him that all thats matters . Stop listening to what mom and pops has to say about the guy grow up and make your own decisions
just divorce him. even if he did get ';better'; it would probably never be enough for your parents and they would always find an excuse to hate him. just cut your losses and move on with your life.
By making their precious daughter happy. Not that fake kind of happy either. The real kind. Parents know when their children are genuinely happy.
you can't prove worth.... when there is no worth there to prove.

seems... your parents have his number... and realize the loser that he is.
hiya, what as he got to prove to your parents.they have nothing to do with him proving any think.he never married them.
I don't think there's a way if he keeps messing up. His best course of action is to continue to try, keep going to counselling.
Why should he? He needs to prove his worth to himself.
He should have to prove ANYTHING to your parents - he's married to YOU!
Parents tend to feel that way about F-ups......Especially when it is their daughter.............
His worth? he can't...........to prove your worth ...you need to have some, your husband doesn't so far.
If I was your husband, I'd leave you.
if he has a big johnson maybe he could show it to your mom and she'd be a little more understanding of your situation?

How can I get my husband to eat healthier?

My husband is the unhealthiest eater I've ever seen in my life. He'd rather eat cookies and chips for dinner than the yummy home cooked meals I make. He's 24 and pretty healthy and at a healthy weight right now. He's also in the military, so he's kinda forced to work out three times a week. But I'm afraid for his health in the long run. He had a family history of diabetes and heart attacks. I'd really like to keep my husband around and kicking for a long time. Any suggestions? How can I get my husband to eat healthier?
You can't get your husband to change his eating habits; only he can do that. The best you can do is to keep healthy foods in the house, eat well yourself, and love him as he is. It is probably ok for you to tell your husband that you wish he'd try to eat a bit more healthy, but even this can be tricky, because if you nag he will tune you out. Maybe you could try a bit of positive reinforcement; be sure to let him know how much you love it when he takes the time to enjoy a meal that you prepare.....that a man who loves your cooking is sexy and gets you going.....:)How can I get my husband to eat healthier?
At that age they not gonna listen. Especially being in the military. Maybe start studying up on diabetes and heart conditions and leaving reading material around the house. When he asks about it tell him you are preparing for the future. Also tell him you want additional life insurance on him, and hope they won't rule his inevitable death on suicide.

Boy I can just imagine the hell you'd catch for not having junkfood in the house. If you are gonna go that route make it very gradual.
My x ate like that when he was in the military but he also learned enough self discipline that when he looked in the mirror and saw fat he was able to get himself under control..I don't think you have a problem until he gains the weight and he may notice and take care of it himself.
He's an adult and will eat as he chooses. Prepare healthy meals at home and don't keep junk food around the house. That way you'll have done your part. If he wants to eat less healthy items, he'll have to get them elsewhere. Junk food isn't bad if it's an occasional thing and not ones daily diet.
When you go to the grocery store, DO NOT put bags of chips and packages of cookies in your shopping cart.

Then tell him that every time he eats a cookie, that's one week of no sex. He'll straighten out fast unless he married you to cover up his gayness.
get rid of all cookies and chips ... and he'll be forced to eat healthier at home...

    :)

    pls mine seriously pls... http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=Ao10V0pjSk382UbrFRNUCALsy6IX;_ylv=3?qid=20091227042508AA3Df4a
To to put some good things in front of hium. If he refuses to eat well,. love him the way he is. IN fact, you can learn to make healthy cookies.
Try to get him to eat a few healthy things a day then try to increase it slowly. That's about all i know but if all else fails just use sex to get him to eat healthier.
get him to know some other people who seem to be unhealthy after eating unhealthy food!

    and

change his diet plan and reduce calories like hell!

    also

    use calorie-less sugar..!

    he'll be so.... FIT soon..!
    You can't.

He will change when he is good %26amp; ready.
Try to advice him and talk to him that it is good for him.
Cook healthy meals and don't buy junk food.
find somethin that tastes like cookies an chips but that's healthy?
Dont get too attached to his current figure
I have the same problem with my husband. I insist that we prepare vegetables with every meal...but what happens? He just doesn't serve himself vegetables. Instead he fills his entire plate with the entree. Then if our kids complain they don't like vegetables, he won't make them eat them, and allows them to fill up on the main course. An hour later the kids want a snack. If I'm not standing right there to say no, he usually says yes. II fight it, but I have no voice on the subject. My husband sometimes eats a bowl of chips an hour before dinner (at least he isn't still eating out of the bag, as I told him that is a bad influence on the kids).

We even took a nutrition class together (my husband and I). It has had no effect.

I suppose I will just be a young widow. I try to not dwell on it or think about it. Sometimes it really upsets me. Then I figure it is his life/body so he can do what he wants. I resent it though. When he's dead of heart disease I'm going to be really mad at him. :-/

I agree with the previous posts. Keep junk food to a minimum in the house. That's all you can do. Too bad we can't buy a television that runs on treadmill power. As much time as my husband spends in front of the TV, he'd be rail thin in 30 days.

How do I react/support my husband as he argues with his family?

My husband got into a very large argument with his brother which resulted in his brother starting a fist fight towards my husband. Rather than solve the problem, my husband's parents stopped the fight and told my husband to leave before he (himself) started anything else. My husband feels very betrayed by his parents, feeling as though they are condoning his brother's behavior. They've met up a few weeks after the incident but no one sees eye to eye. How do I support my husband in this situation? How do I react/support my husband as he argues with his family?
Just being their for him is most important. Right now you're the only person he has. If your husband was in the wrong then you need to sit and talk to him about it.

Their family and brothers fight and their gonna make up. In the end he'll cherish you and love knowing that he always has you to lean on. Good luckHow do I react/support my husband as he argues with his family?
Oral favors and plenty of them.

    Good luck.
Ughh, betrayal - such an ugly act to overcome.

Wow, I can't stress how important it is that you support him, or he might just feel betrayed by you, too. Knowing what the argument was about would help here - but whether you agree with him or not on his side of the argument, you must find some way to support him in some way. If you feel he was wrong, then find some tactful way to show that. It may not be easy, especially if your husband has a short temper, or difficult for you to talk to.

What catches my eye here, though, is that his brother started the fist fight. Really uncool. Sounds like he has a bit of a temper problem, too. To top it off, his parents made your husband leave? Jeez. They may as well have given his brother an award for his behavior.

Anyway, yea, support your husband by talking to him about it. Don't ignore it, by any means. That would be disastrous. Let him talk about it, if he wants, and definitely listen to what he has to say. I feel that a husband and wife should stick by each other in these type situations.

My girl and I were in a supermarket one day, and she got the shopping cart too close to the elderly lady in front of her, and clipped her heel. The lady winced in pain, and looked back at us. I instantly turned to my girl and said ';Hey, you hit her foot.';. I was so wrong. I should've said, ';We're very sorry, ma'am. That was our fault.';.

It's called supporting each other in times of crises. When you're married, you're ONE, so you handle things as one.

I hope it all works out for you guys.

  • How can my husband control high blood pressure without medication?

What's steps do we need to take in North Carolina to get this taken care of?

as noted by others the department of labor can take a wage claim,to do so just click this link:

    http://www.nclabor.com/wh/fact%20sheets/鈥?/a>

the problem is (as i was taught years ago)

    ';you can't get blood from a turnip';

being owed wages, winning a judgment, being part of the creditor list in reorganization do you no good if the employer does not have the liquid assets available to pay you out of. no cash on hand, no pay.
Depending on the type of bankruptcy that the business is filing the workers might be the last people to get their money if they can money at all. The creditors and any suppliers that have money claims are usually paid first.
Follow up with the DOL. Employees owed wages are first in line for funds, not last.

Not all jobs that might be suitable for him will be listed under mechanical engineer. Some might be process engineer, technical engineer, quality engineer etc. I hope he will spend time read through job descriptions.

Job searching is a full time job in itself. And it must be discouraging to be searching for a while. I hope this informaiton could be helpful for him.

    for what company?

    Good luck.

I don't believe that there is a 100% effective treatment for Keloids. Check with your dermatologist to see what treatments are available. How can my husband get rid of some skin disease known as Kloid?
they are keloids, and he can go to a dermatologist and get them injected with steroids and they will improve.
    Keloid maybe remove through surgeries.
