How long will it take to get my tax return after it being rejected?

My husband and I turned in our w2 on the thirteenth. Then we just saw an email today sayin it was rejected because we made a typo. So were fixing it now, but are we still gonna get our money because now it's late? Also, how long will it take? Since ours was already reviewed, and we just have to fix something, will it send immediately or very soon? ThanksHow long will it take to get my tax return after it being rejected?
Assuming that you are getting a refund there are no penalties for late filing. If you e-file and opt for direct deposit of your refund you should normally see your money in 8 to 15 days from the date that it is accepted by the IRS.

Your return has NOT been reviewed yet. It was rejected by the IRS computer system and as far as the IRS is concerned, it has not yet been filed. How long will it take to get my tax return after it being rejected?
Since your first filing was rejected, it's like you never filed it. Fix it and file now. It will take a normal length of time for your refund, 9-16 days if you efile, get direct deposit, and nothing is questioned. Your return is back at the start, needs the initial review again since it was rejected the first time.
Are you serious? REJECTED means just that. You have NOT filed until the return is accepted.
