How much does it cause to feed a great per month?

Me and my husband are looking at getting a great dane. We are both very active people and would love a big dog to take out walking and to the park and all other things. We want to know how much money a month you spend in food on a great dane. We dont want to get one and not have the means to take care of it after we get it. Thank you.How much does it cause to feed a great per month?
depends on the quality of food you get. i would try to get a large breed specific puppy food (such as solid golf wolf club puppy or wellness large breed puppy) if you get a higher quality food (dogfoodanalysis.com) you'll actually spend less on money, though the up front cost is higher, you feed less since the food is more nutritous and you'll save money in vet bills. puppies eat different amounts depends on age, and some dogs are picky eaters while others will eat a ton. i would budget for 50-100$ a month on food alone. great danes are huge, so if you pick a high quality food for $70 for 40 lbs that'll last a month whereas a cheaper food for $40 for 30lbs will require 3 bags of food, so $120 for that month.
